Offering Hope, Growth and Healing
Hello and a warm welcome. My name is Angela, and I am a qualified counsellor with several years’ experience providing both short- and long-term therapeutic psychotherapy and counselling to adults and young people (14+) in a safe, secure and confidential space.
If you can relate to any of the above, it may be beneficial to consider counselling. I am here to help.
Life challenges and difficulties are universal experiences that affect everyone, regardless of their background, circumstances, or personal strengths. These challenges can take many forms, emotional struggles, relationship issues, health problems or significant life changes. No one is immune from experiencing distress, anxiety or depression. Life is inherently unpredictable. We all experience times of difficulty in our lives, when events or relationships feel overwhelming, or we can feel a loss of direction or purpose. It’s part of being human and it shapes our perspectives. Events such as loss, trauma and stress can arise unexpectedly, impacting our emotional, mental health and wellbeing. Talking to a trained professional helps us make sense of those challenging times and offers a way through them, moving towards a better understanding of ourselves and our feelings. I understand that life can be overwhelming at times, and I’m here to help you navigate those feelings. Whatever brings you to counselling, I can offer you a space where you can feel truly listened to, and accepted and valued.
I understand that you may be feeling daunted about reaching out for counselling for a variety of reasons. Often people approach counselling when they are at a very difficult moment in their lives. So, it can be a bit scary asking for some help. Seeking counselling requires you to open up about personal struggles, which can feel intimidating and expose you to emotional vulnerability. Vulnerability is a natural part of being human and acknowledging it can be the first step towards healing and growth.
You may be feeling apprehensive, uncertain and unsure what to expect from the counselling process, leading to anxiety about the unknown. Possible negative past experiences with counselling may create reluctance for you to seek help again. If you do get in touch, I want to reassure you I will endeavor to make the process as easy as I can.

All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
I am based in Omagh within easy reach of the many towns on the outskirts, Enniskillen, Strabane, Dungannon, Belfast, Derry/Londonderry.

I offer a number of concessional appointments for clients who are unemployed, or are being impacted by the cost of living crisis, and student counsellors.

Understandably you may have some questions about what counselling entails or what to expect. Please feel free to contact me to discuss and I will endeavour to answer any questions you may have. I greatly appreciate what a big step and commitment it can be, so it is important to ask questions beforehand so that you can be sure you are making the right decision and choosing the right therapist.
The first appointment will be an opportunity to meet and discuss your difficulties and concerns and decide whether counselling is right for you. Most importantly it enables you to meet me and decide whether you feel comfortable.
Alternatively, if we agree that another type of support would be more beneficial, I will discuss that with you and signpost where possible.
